Team meeting in London

The Music, Migration and Mobility team met at the Austrian Cultural Forum in London in February. German musicologist Jutta Raab Hansen (right) shared her memories of meeting many German and Austrian emigres in London in the 1990s, including opera composer and conductor Berthold Goldschmidt and violinist Maria Lidka. We are now preparing an online resource, concerts at the RCM, a conference in February 2022 and collaborations with partner organisations to highlight their legacies in Britain and beyond.
